The Role of Symbolic Capital on the Russian Consumer Credit Market

The paper is devoted to the problem of consumer crediting developed by the Russian banks and the role of different capitals in this development. The author gives the short review of the studied market, formulates the theoretical tools for definition and operationalization of economic and symbolic capitals. The author states the common hypothesis about the influence of the economic scale on the dynamics of the indirect services given through the symbolic capital. The appropriate models are provided. The hypothesis is tested on the basis of the statistical data.
